Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 23, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how JOBZERG ("we," "us," and "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website at jobzerg.com (the "Website").

What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, and to keep you signed in.

What cookies do we use?

We use two categories of cookies:

Strictly necessary cookies. These are essential for the Website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are set only in response to actions you take, such as signing in to your account. Without them, parts of the Website — like staying logged in — will not work.

Analytics cookies. We use PostHog to understand how the product is used — for example, which features are used and where people run into problems. PostHog sets a cookie (and uses browser local storage) to recognize your device across visits. When you are signed in, this analytics activity is associated with your account so we can understand and improve the product experience. PostHog also records session replays: a reconstruction of clicks, scrolling, and page layout that helps us find bugs and confusing screens. Replays never include what you type (every form field is masked), and your resume details and keyword matches are masked before anything leaves your browser. We use this information only to improve JOBZERG.

We do not use advertising cookies, targeting/marketing cookies, social media cookies, or cookies that track you across other websites.

What about local preferences?

We store some preferences directly in your browser's local storage rather than in cookies — for example, your chosen theme (dark, light, or slate) and whether UI sounds are enabled. These never leave your device.

How can I control cookies?

You can set or amend your web browser controls to accept or refuse cookies, and you can clear stored cookies and site data at any time. If you remove or reject the essential cookie, you may not be able to stay signed in and some parts of the Website may not work. The means of managing cookies vary from browser to browser — see your browser's help menu (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) for details.

Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the cookies we use or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The date at the top of this policy indicates when it was last updated.
